Welcome to Bones Hush, an icon challenge community based on the television series Bones, which was created on August 30, 2005 by  damnskippytoo. Your moderator is valerie_jackson. This is a textless icon community. That means no words of any kind including tiny, unreadable text brushes. The Rules: 01. You cannost put any kind of text onto the icon(s). 02. Your icon(s) must conform to the LiveJournal standards: no larger than 100x100 pixels and 40 kb or less. 03. Submit your icon(s) as a comment to the challenge post. Make sure your lj username is included in the url address in some way (part of the file name is fine). All entries will be screened. 04. Enter only newly created icons - not something you've had in your basement for a year. The Challenges: 01. The challenges will vary. At times there will be screencaps provided and at other times only a lyric, poem, theme, color or character for which you will choose the cap(s). Or I might think of something else! Requirements of each challenge will be explained in the post. 02. Icon(s) must be still (not animated) unless stated otherwise in the challenge post. 03. Again, you cannot put any kind of text to your icon(s). This is from one simple reason only: as the name says we're hush community when it comes to icons. 04. All brushes and textures that do not include any text on them can be used. 05. Voting will be open to members only and will begin shortly after the posting deadline. Entrants may not vote for their own icons or get other members to vote for them. Winners will be announced after 2 days of voting. 06. Banners will only be given to those who request them. Please state if you would like a banner when you post your entries. 07. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. A mod's choice award, "The Skeleton Key" will be given only when the moderator feels it is deserved for originality, composition, appropriateness for the theme, and/or just how frickin' gorgeous it is. It may or may not be one of the top three placed icons.
