Took the Bathurst streetcar down to Queen today.

Noticed that Rok Botique seems to be closed down now, or at least that's what the "for rent" sign in the window indicates to me. When did that happen?

Then I walk by 550 Queen St. W. and see that this is the prelaunch weekend for the club that's taken residence - Nocturne. With a gothy name there was initial hope that this could be something to interest me and this scene. They are looking to staff this new venue, there was a box where you could drop off your resume. The flyer (see www.nocturneclub.com ) doesn't give an indication of the music and I"ve never heard of DJs Frankie Gunns or Spider Brown. I gave them a call and it seems their usual music won't interest me, but they might be doing on goth/industrial type night a month. Sent an email and said if they had anything relevant to toronto-goth.com I"d be happy to post it.

Rumour had it that it was some of the "older regulars" from Savage that were going to lease the place. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore, but who knows.

Tonight I"m off to the Basement.

They need to find someone for this shoot asap, so please respond *TODAY* if you are interested.

I've heard nothing but good about their clothing quality, and I like the styles. I still don't have anything by them, but plan to change that situation soon, when I find the time to visit the boutique and try on some clothes. I can't buy clothing (except tshirts) without trying it on, otherwise it will fit funny.
