Hello. Um, this post is for any artist. I was doing a banner for a fanfic and got permission from the author to do so and one of my contacts...actually quite a few called it disgusting and yeah I dleted the comments but it did get to me.I politely told one of the poepl off and then when others posted she went like, "see other people find it disgusting too :p"  So please help me out. Hollywood, CA (May 2, 2006)--Multi-Platinum band Evanescence recently recorded overdubs and mixed their upcoming album in Ocean Way's Studio D, equipped with the Neve 88R console and totally extensive collection of vintage outboard gear and microphones.


The project was helmed by producer/engineer Dave Fortman, who produced and recorded Evanesence's 2003 album Fallen, which has been certified 6x Platinum, spent 43 weeks in the Billboard Top Ten and has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The new Evanescence album, The Open Door, is on the Wind-Up Records label and will be released on October 3.

1)How long have you been a fan of Evanescence?
Since the release of the BMTL single.
2)How obsessed are you?
Very obessed. My friends use me as an Evanescence-encycolpedia, practically.
3)Have you seen them perform live and if so how was it?
Sadly, no. I'm hoping to see them when tehy go on tour the next time.
4)What is your favorite song and why?
My favourite song is probably October, because I just think it's so beautiful.
5)If you had to choose 1 song to represent Evanescence what would it be and why?
I would choose 'Eternal', because it has everything.

Hi everyone!!!!! I just joined Eternal Fans...I love Evanescence so so much and thought it would be cool to join the group.

1)How long have you been a fan of Evanescence? Since the end of eigth grade..so, um, around two years?
2)How obsessed are you? Oh very
3)Have you seen them perform live and if so how was it? Yes, on the last tour, in Toronto. They do an excellent live show. Some bands sound better than on the CD, and they didn't but they didn't sound worse either, just different.
4)What is your favorite song and why? Do I have to pick just one?? Okay...I guess Tourniquet. Not that I'm suicidal at all, but it's perfect for me because I'm very melodramatic and whenever I'm depressed that's the song I play. Plus I love the lyrics and the guitar.
5)If you had to choose 1 song to represent Evanescence what would it be and why? Hard choice...probably Going Under, because it's a nice combination of the heavy guitar-rock aspect of the band, but then there's the soft piano in the background. A good blend. Plus it showcases Amy's vocals very well.
