Jul. 19th, 2012 @ 12:09 pm Email for publication?
I have upcoming article related to my graduate work. I'm currently using my university email as the author contact.  But I finished my degree since the article was first submitted and it looks like my that email will expire a couple of months after printing.  So, I need to change the email listed on the proof pages before returning them.

Would okay to list my everyday personal email address?  Or, is that likely to result in lots of unwanted spam, and I should create some new email address only used for that article?

Jun. 4th, 2007 @ 10:49 am Article Publication question
Current Mood: curiouscurious
I co-authored an article with two other grad students and we submitted it in March. I just got this email from one of the co-authors: "So, they were supposed to let us know by June 1 if we were accepted for the book or not. What's the standard for handling this kind of thing? Do we give them an extra week and then email them and ask when they will let us know? I don't want to be pushy, but I think it would have been respectful if they had contacted us to tell us they are behind- or something! I'm anxious!"

I don't know the answer to this. It's only June 4th, so I am not at all concerned yet. What do those of you with more experience suggest?

Thanks!
