I did another one. I don't know if it sucks more or less or if anyone will read it anyway.

Title: A Fairytale Of Betelgeuse Seven
Pairing: Ford/Arthur
Summary: As well as being my favourite Christmas song, I’ve always thought ‘A Fairytale of New York’ perfectly fits Arthur and Ford’s relationship in a lot of ways. Told over four Christmases, the one right before the Earth was destroyed and the three following it, this is their story. Oh, and Ford sings the Shane McGowan part and Arthur sings the Kirsty MacColl part.
Universe: Er, none really, because it blatantly ignores the fact that Arthur and Ford were stranded on prehistoric Earth for five years. Call it TV-verse and assume they got off the planet in time for Christmas. >.>
Rating: It doesn’t get any worse than the song lyrics; light PG-13 for swearing I guess.
Disclaimer: If I was Douglas Adams I would be doing a hell of a lot more with these characters than writing one short songfic.

So I know nobody posts around here these days, but I scribbled this in a moment of procrastination and I'll feel like less of a bad person for not working if I actually do something with it. So, a quick Ford/Arthur thingy focusing mostly on their time on Earth. It's slash. I just really like the idea of everybody having someone that they're willing to change all the rules for, and I see that as definitely applying to these two.

I imagined Peter Jones reading this during the first just-over-half, and then when it gets more serious I imagined a really cheesy romance movie narrator. So yeah.

I'm no good at ratings, but probably PG and also probably bookverse.

Hello, people of the Guideslash community. I'm aware this place hasn't been very active at all lately, but I'm here to post an Arthur/Ford fic I wrote because I thought this might be a good place to post it and have people see it and yeah. Some information about it:

Title: Tea and Caring
Pairing: Arthur/Ford
'Verse: It could be any, really; as I wrote this, I envisioned Arthur and Ford looking as I headcanoned them when reading the book, but I see no reason why this fic shouldn't work with any version of Hitchhiker's Guide.
Rating: G
Word count: 2,820
Warnings: There are themes of loss here, especially towards the end, and I'm aware some people find this triggering. Other than that, no warnings whatsoever. It's really just amusing fluff (and an exploration of a headcanon I have regarding Ford and the fact that, even though he doesn't seem to care much for anyone, he maintained his relationship with Arthur for so long).
Other notes: I attempted to sound as much like Douglas Adams as was possible while writing this.
