We need to invite more people to this community - there are like 59 people in Houston who list "karaoke" as an interest! Clearly, I have too much time on my hands. I'm going to go sew.

Ok, so I have Time Warner Digital Cable here in Houston, and I made a discovery today! As you may know TWC has an on demand feature that allows you to watch TV shows and movies when ever you want. Well while surfing around today in the “I-Control Free” category I noticed that under the Oxygen channel they offer a Karaoke station!! It is called “Air Karaoke Station A-Z.” The songs change up every month and the selection is super varied from all different times and genres.

A fun though is to maybe record them and when you have people come over for a party or something this is free entertainment!!!

I can't even count how many times I got to sing at Azteca's last night. It got pretty silly towards the end with me singing Guns-N-Roses. In the beginning it was just me, Kevin and Melissa singing. By the end there were about 10 singers. Who's coming next week??

Had fun at Azteca's Halloween gig last night - they were aiming to have two separate contests for sing-alike and costumes, but there weren't enough participants so it was just one big costume contest. Can't complain though - nice cash prize! Also nice that I smell rather human the day after (unlike the weekend bars).

We had a blast at Jump's last night - Jeff did his usual tour of assorted costumes. I didn't get my "Mindy" costume, so Dudley (aka "Mork") had to escort Miss Marilyn Monroe. So of course, I had to sing "Cause I'm a Blonde" with my blonde wig on. Didn't see David D. though.

Hey, all! I used to host karaoke once a week in Seattle until I moved to San Francisco. Anyway, I am looking for the .mp3 (lyrics are unnecessary) of "Little Red Riding Hood" (usually by Sam the Sham & the Pharaos). I need it via email by tomorrow afternoon for a singing burlesque performance tomorrow night. Otherwise, I will just dance to the bettyx version I have on CD.
