Hi, we're scolare and kyokutou and we're the friendly mods of icon_witches. This is a drop-off/show-off place for us (and you) to show off all those new icons you've made and get feedback on them. We allow constructive criticism (use your common sense as to what this means) but not flaming or "OMG IT SUX0RS" comments.

:posting:

** When posting your icons, if you have more than 3 icons to show off, please take advantage of the HTML Tables tutorial here. If the table is not used (if you need help just ask), your post will be deleted and you will be asked to repost with the table in place. Consistent failure to post without a table will result in moderation of posts and/or banning at our discretion.

Here's the coding for the table: (just copy and paste)

*note: change the number of td colspan depending on the number of columns you want to have (I have chosen 3) for the header to be the correct size. Then add as many [td][img src="URL OF IMAGE"][/td] as you need in order to have all your icons in one post. For the fancy table, change the [COLOUR] information to be whatever colour you would like the headers to be, and add as many of the rows/URLs as before.*

** Please post your OWN work, not that of anyone else. If we are informed of icon theft (and it's proven) we will take steps to remove the offending work and you will banned, no questions asked and no recourse given.

** If posting a lot of icons, please use an LJ cut. If you don't know what one is, please see the LJ FAQ on how to do it.

:credit:

** Please credit for images, brushes, patterns, textures, any tutorials used (a link to a website or LJ community/journal must be provided for tutorials) and anything of that nature. It's etiquette to credit so in order to be sure, we advise you to note on the image or brush or anything of that sort where you got it from as per the site or creator's wishes. If the brushes/patterns/textures etc. are linkware, please provide links for these as well.

If it's your own design for the above info, then please let us know that as well.

** Please follow the request of the icon makers when using their icons - some may request that you add a link to their journal in your user info, or some other form of credit.

:direct/hot-linking:

** Do NOT under any circumstances direct or hot-link images found here. The ban-hammer will fall on anyone caught hotlinking images either here or on a website.

:extras:

** Icon creators - Please make sure to keep copies of what you have done (.psd files etc.) in case you need to prove you are the maker of an icon (in the case of theft etc.). This is just common sense really as it helps you if you need to change anything, or if someone asks how you made it. Please be friendly and if anyone asks how you made it, join icon_tutorial and post a tutorial there. That's what their community is for. :)
