dfhjsldfh video game progress. FINALLY played some Left4Dead, FINALLY got Altaïr's Armor in Assassin's Creed 2. The problem with Steam having the ridiculous sales it does is that it leaves me trying to decide which games to play next. I'm still in the middle of AC2 and Arkham Asylum, but now I want to start on The Void and continue with L4D! AHHH CHOICES.
I'm registered for Otakon and have a room thanks to
cloudy_chan, so now the only real steps are, uh... working on my costume and actually telling my parents I'm going. That will happen eventually.
In comics, I picked up a copy of Emperor Joker this week, as well as Batman Beyond, and keeping up with this Age of Heroes business in Marvel.
Speaking of which. I've been sort of let down by Marvel of late, actually. Considering the fact that I loved New Avengers in its previous incarnation, the new New Avengers have been kind of... drab. The best books so far to me have been Young Allies and Avengers. The other books have been very meh, with the meh-iest being the Age of Heroes. So meh, in fact, I've decided to completely pass on the second one unless someone tells me it's any good. I WANT SOMETHING FUNNY TO READ, MARVEL. FUNNY AND AVENGERS-Y. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR??
On a DC note, though, Arkham Asylum the game has been an impetus for me to start reading Batman stuff, bit by bit, and especially Joker stuff. So if anyone knows of any good Joker books to read, that'd be super-awesome. If they're in trade form even awesomer, because then I can take them to lunch~
