Greetings fellow servants in Christ!
I'm new to the group and wanted to say "Howdy"! I'm a lifelong Christian who recently embarked on a serious walk with God and study of The Word starting about 5 years ago. Long story short, over the last 10 years The Lord has shown me he is real, he is powerful and he cares about my life, AND YOURS! I'm left-handed, so I was immediately intrigued with Ehud, one of The Judges. He's the cat who in Chapter 3 of the Book of Judges, killed the King who was so fat that poor Ehud lost his dagger. He couldn't pull it out of the guy!
21 And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly: 22 And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.
Meep...
So the next part, I picture Ehud kinda like Bat Man or something... Some dark, caped figure slipping out the back unnoticed. So Cool! Enter the doofus servants to finish off the story. I found a great little live-action dramatization for Ehud during a study of Judges some time back and tucked it away. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
