Enter Laughing by Joseph Stein is a sidesplitting comedy about a young man named David working in a sewing machine repair shop, who decides to pursue a career as an actor. His carefree manner and charismatic ladies-man persona impair his ability to keep a healthy relationship with his girlfriend Wanda. As if being an actor isn't hard enough, David must deal with his over-involved Jewish parents who are convinced he has a promising future as a druggist, and an elderly boss who thinks David aspires to be the heir to his shop. Through David's relationships with his quirky parents, director, boss and friends, the audience is given an insightful view into the hardships of life in the theatre and the message that nothing should stop you from following your dreams.

"Someone's been messing around with our fairy tales." When a Baker and his Wife learn that their inability to bear a child is due to a curse cast by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest to gather the special objects required to break the spell, swindling and stealing from Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack (of beanstalk fame). Through suffering and sacrifice, the Baker and his Wife, as well as the other fairy tale characters' wishes are fulfilled, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them, with disastrous results. When an angry giant poses a threat to the community, all of the characters are forced to unite to overcome this great malevolent force. What begins as a lively, irreverent fantasy becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility, the danger in wishing, dealing with loss, and the stories we tell our children. "Into the Woods," James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning sinister, fractured fairy tale, depicts life after "happily ever after."
