Hi!!!

We are a group of international students in a French Business School (Grenoble Graduate School of Business) and we are doing a Marketing research survey on MAC for our classes.....

We are focusing on women in the United-States and in Canada.

If you have any time, could you please answer the survey at the following address: http://www.createsurvey.com/c/47532-TaDsNK/?

We will only use the information collected for educational purposes.

If you want to get the result of our survey, you can contact us at : mli_requena@hotmail.fr

We will be happy to give you feedback about it.

Thank you in advance for passing the message around. That would help us a lot!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm helping a friend who recently started selling Mary Kay products out....she needs to meet her active mark, so i'm buying all of the foundations for my models from Mary Kay...the only problem is she doesn't have any inventory so I cant really swatch foundation colors against my girls..

So I was wondering if any of you are or know anyone who is a consultant for mary kay and could look at some pictures of my models and tell me approximately what color they'd be in Full coverage foundations...

i'd be much obliged.

thank you :)

So I really like reading  Imagemac_cosmetics but sometimes I feel there are certain members who only bring up negative, rude comments or posts.  If they don't like what someone is saying or doing, just skip over it.  Whenever I see someone commenting on stuff that they don't like, it always seems to be the same people and it kinda bothers me lol   I don't want to say anything to them though because then I feel like I would be contributing to their anger or whatever the hell is up their bum.

I've noticed it many times the past few days and I had to vent somewhere.  I hope it's ok here!

p.s  I would have mentioned specific instances but wasn't sure if I was allowed to do that

X-posted nearly everywhere...help needed. (off topic)

Okay, so my High School Senior Project idea is due this thursday, and i'm really having trouble completely figuring out what i want to do. It needs to be fullfilled in ten weeks.

What i need to do is propose a question, and then how i will go about answering that question, and write a research paper/do a presentation on whatever I choose.

Ideas the teacher has told us about have been: Someone's going to be in a wheelchair for a week, other people moved out to see how hard it was to make it on their own, people are going vegan, etc etc etc.

I was thinking about doing something with hair/makeup...but i'm not sure....

Oh yea, and it has to be soemthing I have very little to no real experience in.....

ANY HELP, IDEAS, ETC>.....I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT....

thank you....

Anyone ever just have a day where you are spastically (That's so not a word, but I don't care lol.) hyper and just have endless amounts of energy?

That is so me today! I have so much energy with absolutely nothing to do. It's one day when I don't have 5,000 things to do for my classes.

Anyway has anyone seen in person or have the new Benefit face powder called Dallas? I hate not having a Sephora around here! I really want it and probably will get it because I figure if I like my Dandelion, Georgia, and Hoola that I will also like this lol. If you have it and could take pictures that'd be pretty awesome lol.

Ohhh, and anyone seen the picture on Sephora of the lips?

I think it looks awesome. I want to do that on my lips! What would you guys use to recreate this?

Sometimes I hate instant messenger because people type so slowly. It stresses me out. I need to go take a shower and take my dog to the park. Instead, I'm getting IM'd by random slow-typers.

I took a holiday today, to go see some art. I ended up having a AAA adventure involving my car, running out of gas, and keys held captive.

What are you doing today?

Ever just have a craptastic day? That would be today. I hurt my foot last night running, and woke up today unable to walk better than a weak hobble around the house. I felt TOTALLY LAME. Then I came down with a cold, had a breakout, and my only consolation was the 2 dvds of Sex and the City that I have on loan from Netflix.

Of course, then my roommate dragged me to the running store to find that the whole injury was caused by my overly-stabilizing running shoes. I bought new ones and I think it's going to be good... once I can run again.

I'm looking forward to spending my day off tomorrow trolling the San Diego art museums. Should be significantly better than today.

Imagenotquite_mac is a community dedicated to everything that MAC addicts want to talk about, that might be considered off-topic in the other MAC communities. So when you have questions about non-MAC brands, want to bitch about a crappy day, or develop friendships with other LJ members from the MAC communities, this is the place to discuss those topics.

There aren't too many rules to observe here, just a few basic ground rules:

1. No rudeness allowed. The idea is to strengthen relationships, or at the very least enjoy the time you spend here. So play nice! Posts containing deliberately offensive or hurtful material will be deleted at the moderators' discretion.

2. No sale/swap or feedback posts, please. There are any number of other communities where selling and swap requests are allowed, so kindly keep those posts out of Imagenotquite_mac.

3. Otherwise, no topic is off-limits. If you are offended by something that is not agro or deliberately offensive, you have the right to scroll on past and ignore it. Nonetheless, personal opinions may be expressed and discussed.

4. You may not post personal information about any other user, per LiveJournal terms of service.

5. Last but not least, enjoy yourself!
