I posted a drabble at the 100, today.

I know I'm trying to separate fannish pursuits and personal schtuff, but I thought I'd stick the link up here, just in case anyone remembers me and would like to read. ;)

Dear Jane

Don't forget [god what a pimp, i am!] my flocked journal is Imagemoonweb. Come and see us, won't you?

Hugs to all the SSC bunch. Miss you loads. Come play on my other journal too, okay?

He loved her more than he ever thought he was capable of. She made him happy, not simply content. She'd bore him a son; a beautiful boy who favored her but took after him in attitude and personality. She smiled often, giving him the confidence to succeed, to please her. Yes, she was his beloved.

He hated her for being weak. If she'd only been stronger the illness would not have claimed her. She was leaving him, inch by inch. He despised her selfishness; he had no idea how to care for a child by himself. Her appearance was more than he could bear, the illness had changed her body, her face, changed her. All he needed was her simple smiles to lessen his business woes and worries, yet soon he would never see her smile again. He hated what she was doing to him by dying. Yes, she was his beloved but he could no longer stand the sight of her.

I found a lovely book by Ann Hood entitled, Creating Character Emotions.

Each chapter deals with a specific emotion and provides bad and good examples of each in fiction. Finally at the end of the chapter there are writing exercises.

I thought it would be fun to challenge ourselves by practicing one of these exercises once a week.

Imagebabydraco has generously offered the use of her community Imageof_musings for the weekly explanation and challenge.

Any interested participants should post their entries in their own journal and link in the appropriate comments section at the community.

This week's challenge, Hate, can be found here.

I hope everyone tries this at least once. It has been quite a learning experience for me.

I don't do this very often, as a matter of fact I almost never post reviews or spoilers of any of the Smallville episodes.

First and foremost, I must thank Imageceruleancat for introducing me to suprnova.org and search engines. I was able to dl Talisman in less than 8 hours. I slept through the airing of the ep Wednesday night and despaired of seeing it until late summer reruns.

So...any way...here is my beef. I'll place it behind cut tags, even though it's not very spoilery. Warning: Technical jargon and very uninteresting content for many.

For the rest of you who don't give a damn, this is my day off. Wheee!

That is all.

Last night, my twin Imageschaden_freude had opportunity to bring a family member into the Emergency Trauma Center.

When they arrived at the triage desk, everyone saw her and assumed it was me. My co-workers started to crack wise, asking if said family member required a psychiatric consult, and other 'silly' things.

After Schade and company were thoroughly offended, someone realized it wasn't me they were talking to. Many apologies immediately ensued.

Other co-workers would approach me with puzzled expressions, stating, "There is a woman in Acute Care who looks exactly like *you*!"

SO, is it just me, or do twins cause a stir whenever they are seen in the same vacinity?

Peace out.
