I'm new to the "305" area and am in search of a band, or just a group of people to jam with. I have played guitar for 2 years, and I'm not like, amazing, I mean, I'm no Page or Hendrix or anything, but I have played with a few groups back home, and we've done fine. I listen to many different kinds of music, but mostly Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Mars Volta, Joy Division, The Beatles, Sigur Ros, and a lot of other groups. I am located on SW 28th Road, (something near by prefered) I don't know much about the South Florida area, but I could possibly get rides and such. I have set equipment, but I might need a week or 2 to pick it up. My effects style revolves around delays, reverbs, and sometimes distortion. I have a half stack for equalizing with drums, and own several guitars, all I need is a group. Thank you, comment or IM please.

I have recently moved to the "305" and was just wondering if someone in this community could help me find a Miami community that's more so about the Miami music scene. I'm from Lakeland, a town between Orlando and Florida, and everyone up there and their mother has a band. The scene in my town used to be along the lines of "hardXcore, scream-o, post-hardcore" and all that bullshit. Personally, I enjoy more-so experimental, electronica, ambient, and I guess "rock". Please post comments directing me to the local music community, or something. I need my scene fix.
