Ok so I actually totally forgot about this thing until like 10 minutes ago and I was like huh, maybe I should take a mini-break from slaving away in the snyder mines to update this thing for once. :)

I think it's funny that I both love Ms. Snyder and hate her at the same time. I mean, I love her because she will assign you a bunch of really crazy work but then do random fun things like singing and eating donuts.

Speaking of a bunch of really crazy work...

1) successes & failures
2) evaluate castro's leadership. What kind of leader was he? dictator, populist, democratic, centralist
3) Does Castro deserve US villification?

Ok. Everyone has been all like "What the Fritjof are you thinking, Snyder sucks ass!" so I thought that perhaps I should explain my reasoning for the creation of this thing.

It is not merely a Snyder fanclub.

It is also to discuss what we are learning in history, talk about the packets, etc. etc.

And for those of you who dislike Snyder just because you had her as a freshman or sophomore, well, I hated her back then too. But now I don't. First impressions aren't everything, you know.

And the whole Snyder vs. Curry thing...you can't really do that. They just have different teaching styles. I find I like Snyder's a whole lot more; I actually retain stuff, and it's not just her lecturing at me. She actually involves the whole class in big group discussions, which I find really interesting. But maybe that's just me.

Ok. So it's like, 4:43 AM and I'm creating this community because I can. And because I reallly don't wanna work on this essay even though I know I have to or I'm screwed. So yeah.

Basically this community, as it says in the info, can be used for discussing anything history related. I will also post assignments and stuff on here too, so people can see if they missed anything in class. If anyone wants to co-moderate this thing, let me know. Sometime in the near future (not today or tomorrow...wooo science bowl!) I will write an actual history-related entry. But now I have to get back to the damn humanities essay. Hehe. Over and out.
