Hello everybody,

the last post on here dates back to 2010-09-07. People have moved on, be it from the band, or just livejournal. Nontheless I think that these news should be mentioned on here as well.


After 14 years, Westlife have announced their split.

There is an official statement to be found on westlife.com.


[Also I was told there is supposed to be a press conference around 5pm GMT.]


We had good times and we had bad times. And as sad as it makes me, everything must have its end.
I have made the acquaintance of amazing people, very special to me, through this band, for which I am endlessly grateful. The lads and their music had an interesting impact on my life, and changed it in quite many ways.

But based on the number of people who voted, it seems that you guys would like the occasional challenge (monthly or so), but just individually - i.e. without points or teams! 

So yep, that's gonna be it - we're going to take on the form of a community where the mods post teams and challenges, and you guys complete the challenges! It's definitely gonna be fun :)

All right, the first ever challenge is coming up soon! Do look out for it over the weekend!

Hello, my fellow Westlife fans!

This community doesn't really have much life in it right now ): As such, I was thinking of giving it a Complete Revamp! As in, instead of just a comm where we post stuff we like/ etc, it becomes like a challenge community :)

But I'm well aware that it's very possible that some of you don't want a full-on challenge community with teams and points and really quick deadlines, so here's a poll to decide what this community should become!


I hope that you all will cast your vote - it will mean a lot to this community! :)

And while it's not much, I added some wallpapers and working on adding a photogallery (although since I live in the US, I'm sure most people will have seen all the pics I will put up cause it's not like there's an abundant amount over here). 02.02.2010 - Westlife on Jonathan Ross!

Westlife will be doing a very special interview on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. It’s the first time they have been on the show so it will be a very exciting occasion!  Make sure you tune in to BBC1 at 10.35pm on Friday 12th Feb!
