Overview[]
Perks are important traits that your soldiers have. Each soldier class will have a different max perk point set. However, it should be noted that perk rolls are randomized, and it is possible to have less than the max perk points on a soldier. It can take dozens of rolls to get a single soldier with the optimized perk set.
More perk points will allow the soldier to equip helpful perks and also grant passive bonuses.
Passive Bonuses[]
Perks also have passive bonuses that will benefit the soldier, even when no perks are equipped.
- For each point of mobility, the soldier will receive +0.50% run speed.
- For each point of vitality, the soldier will receive +1.00% stamina.
- For each point of weapon, the soldier will receive -0.50% vertical recoil.

Perk explanations[]
- +10% Run speed slightly increases sprint speed and hip-fire dispersion
- Climbing speed affects speed of climbing over fences and ladders
- Medpack usage speed decreases time to stand up after being downed along with decreasing healing speed
- +15% Sprint speed does not affect run speed
- -60% Damage when hard landing with a parachute reduces damage taken from landing with a parachute. AI paratroopers/pilots automatically open their parachutes and will not benefit significantly from this perk
- -100% Speed loss after gear shift will help drivers accelerate. This perk only applies to the driver of the vehicle
- +50% Speed of using brake will help drivers slow down to a stop. This perk only applies to the driver of the vehicle
- +90% Speed of gear shift will help drivers accelerate. This perk only applies to the driver of the vehicle
- -100% Effect of head-swinging during sharp maneuvers can help your pilot focus on the sights of the plane. Not a huge difference with it so it might be best to avoid it

Perk explanations[]
- +100% Breath holding time while aiming brings max breath holding time to six seconds. Breath holding does not reduce dispersion or recoil but will slightly increase zoom and stop your weapon from shaking
- +100% Health regeneration out of combat, +50% Health regeneration speed out of combat allows you to regenerate up to six hit-points
- +200% Health restored by medpack restores up to nine hit-points
- +200% Health restored when healing allies is not very important. It can potentially reduce your score since you do not have to heal your teammates as much and also medics can already heal extremely quickly with the +50% healing speed of allies perk
- Flight stamina affects how much stamina the pilot has to make maneuvers. When out of flight stamina, the screen will darken, and the pilot will have less control over the plane. This is referred to the "blackout" in other perks
- +30% Endured negative overloads, +15% endured positive overloads allows the pilot to handle more g's

Perk explanations[]
- Weapon changing speed applies to the speed of switching from any item, and the speed of equipping rifle grenade launchers
- Melee attack speed also affects the digging speed of shovels
- When throwing a grenade with the +50% Throwing range of grenades, there will be a notification on the bottom of the screen indicating this perk is equipped
- +30% Angle of focused and peripheral vision allows you to see plane markers without looking directly at them more easily
- Improved targeting skills of a tank gun only applies to gunners
- +20% Tank gun reload speed only applies to loaders and does not stack. If there is no loader in the tank, the perk can also be equipped on a commander or gunner
