What is the CCSE test?
The test of constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE test) is an examination test developed by the Cervantes Institute that evaluates, through different tasks, the knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and of the Spanish social and cultural reality, it is one of the requirements established in the laws for the granting of Spanish nationality for Sephardics born in Spain, and for the acquisition of nationality for residents in Spain, as appropriate.
Through the agreement signed with the Cervantes Institute, FEDELE is a collaborating institution for the examinations leading to the constitutional and socio-cultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE test) and has 87 Examination Centres in various cities in Spain.

Change of date and/or examination centre
Candidates may change the date of the examination session and/or the examination centre, provided that the registration period is still open for the examination session for which they registered and that the examination session for which they wish to register has its own registration period open at the time of requesting the change and that there are still places available.
The change request is available for the CCSE tests through the section INSCRIPCIONES in the user menu.
How to register for the CCSE?
Registration and payment must be made online, after registration, in the user’s private area of www.cervantes.es.
Registration for the Spanish Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain (CCSE) test by the candidate implies their express acceptance of the terms and conditions of purchase and conditions of purchase established by the Instituto Cervantes and their commitment to provide the identification and accreditation documentation required during the process of obtaining Spanish nationality.
You can pay your registration fee for the CCSE test with any of the usual payment systems: both credit and debit cards, through the Virtual POS system of Santander Elavon Merchant Services, and Paypal, which will also allow you to pay the fee with all types of credit cards without the need to register.
