Welcome to Stirling in Scotland

Welcome to Scotland’s ancient capital city, Stirling, located 26 miles north-east of Glasgow and 37 miles north-west of Edinburgh

Stirling is a beautiful place to live, surrounded by rich farmland and a medieval old town and castle, that attracts many thousands of visitors each year.

The city’s status as “Gateway to the Highlands” historically lent it great strategic importance and the saying “he who holds Stirling, holds Scotland” is sometimes attributed to Robert the Bruce.
