I am guessing the dentist dinner and first acid trip likely occurred sometime between January 17th-24th, or February 8th-15th, right?
I think it was later than that. The dentist, John Riley, visited the Help! set in the Bahamas in February 1965, and the first trip is very likely to have been after then (as far as I know The Beatles never spoke to him afterwards). I’ve looked for listings for the first Paddy, Klaus & Gibson performance at Downstairs at the Pickwick, which happened on the same night, but have drawn a blank, so if anyone finds any evidence please let me know.
I feel like John Lennon’s boat trip to Bermuda should be included in 1980! It’s an interesting event.
Boat trip to Bermuda now added!
It might also be worth mentioning that Ringo attended the final Ziggy Stardust concert at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on July 3, 1973…
