- im fully convinced a huge part of why trump wants greenland so badly is because the mercator projection makes it look about the same size as africa and so he's convinced he'd be getting a much bigger landmass than what it actually is
My favorite thing about the Mercator projection is that it turns Antarctica into like a cosmic horror when it's actually smaller than South America
