TOO EARLY to go to bed,
THAT’S not what the poet said…
Time to make dreams
Before he writes reams,
In early morning when he gets out of bed!

Loving an imperfect lass,
Older, how does one express….
Isolated,
Separated
Friendship without too much sass?
–
You and she likewise being,
Difficult in socializing…
Frequently
Upsets me,
Angered to split—not surprizing!
–
Comes from being hurt often,
How can I in love soften….
Defensive anger
I find in her,
Without nails in our relationship’s coffin?
–
But she’s bought a lot for me,
Comes out as generosity….
A subtle ruse
Anyone can use,
To keep their thumb over me!
–
God only knows the way
To tame each other’s resume’….
Becoming one,
Walking with His Son,
Friends safe, secure and okay!

My Susyn and Roger write,
Books that can take half the night…
Editing to fit
Their wonderful wit,
Takes time to get it all right!
–
Limericks I shoot from the hip,
They labor properly equipped….
For writing marathons
That go on and on,
Carefully avoiding plot slip!

My P.C.A. is back
But two weeks of pay still lacks….
Hospitalization
Complicates the situation
And timesheets need to be tracked!
–
Starting this afternoon,
She took over what I’d done…
Getting this fart
into the art
OF ORGANIZATION!

Carl’s Thoughts On – Signs of The Time
Sign of the times, usually refers to a change in values reflecting societal or cultural shifts. I think most of us can agree that in the last decade there have been major shifts in our world.
There was a time when people could disagree in opinions without violence and hatred. Where people could come together and have factual debates. Where both sides were seeking the best for all, not just a select few.
In recent years there has been an explosion of conflicts brought on by falsehoods, misquotes, and half-truths. Brought about to enhance an agenda of one or another. Sometimes just to try to destroy someone with a different viewpoint.
Emotions seem to be outweighing truth, hard feelings are triggered by simple facts. Some are trying to change laws to accommodate how some words make some feel. Even scripture spoken in public is sometimes being called hate speech.
With the increased use of the internet, and media to sway opinions one way or another it feeds the friction of the day.
God’s word and moral values are being compromised for the sake of not wanting to upset someone. Even churches are compromising the word of God in an effort to tolerate and accept everyone.
There has been a steady influx of false teachers and demonic “religions” into our world. Islam has been allowed to run rampant in our country. By their own words they come to infiltrate, populate and dominate, and destroy any and all that will not conform. Our country has allowed violent criminals to remain in our land and at times even protected them, while peaceful citizens are ravaged and murdered.
Bruised egos and feelings seem to be more important than safeguarding our country. They strive to handcuff our police by limiting their funding and support.
There is a rise in people saying that they hate the country that they live in; the United States. But I find it strange that as much as they hate it, they don’t want to leave and they still want the benefits.
How can we not see the breakdown of moral values and society as a whole?
Where have all the good men gone?
I ask for godly men to stand up, holding fast to God’s word. Prepare yourselves as well as your brothers and sisters for the trials to come. Be in constant prayer, meditate on God’s word, seek His council in all things, that you made be filled with His Holy Spirit.

Don’t Let Me Stray
I see Him hanging on that old cross
Hanging there beaten and mocked
His blood running down, shed for me
In love He died so I could be free.
Lord don’t let me stray far from thee
Let me always remember dark Calvary
And how you bled and died for me
I pray don’t let me stray far from thee.
I saw how their spear pierce your side
You cry out then hung your head and died
I saw the forgiveness in your eyes for me
As your love paid sin’s price for me.
Lord don’t let me stray far from thee
Let me always remember dark Calvary
And how you bled and died for me
I pray don’t let me stray far from thee.
