Yes, onward we go… It has been a long journey, but we remain strong despite fatigue from all of the insanity. Most of you are aware that I lost my beloved cat to cancer in April and I am only now just starting to regroup and come back to what was. Above is a photo of the new cat I was asked to take who needed a home. I wanted a homeless stray to save but it was not meant to be. First off there were not many cats in the local shelters? (where did they go?), secondly the adoption fees were just insane. One cat I was considering going to see I said no way when I found out the fee would have been $400.00!!! Those poor cats will be in cages for a very long time at those costs. People can’t even put food on their table at this time. Oh well, this sweet kitty came my way and I couldn’t say no. No she isn’t a homeless stray to be saved but she needs a new home and lots of love. So the journey continues and it will be interesting to see what this journey uncovers. I will update when she finally gets here. She has to be spayed and then she will come to me and we can start a new life together. Thanks for being patient with my absence. VK ❤
