It's been since I updated this, huh? Sorry for that, you guys. I do have stuff planned and, hopefully, content is added here soon. Been itching to do a little pairing meme again and I already have content/stuff lined up for that thanks to friends asking for stuff in advance!

For now, I hope you guys enjoy this work that I still like a lot and I am glad I finally got around to updating it and reposting it again after first pulling it down.

Megatron had a love for the arts.

When he was a miner, still buried underneath rubble and expectations of society, it was one of the few things he could to turn when he wanted an escape.

Terminus’ smuggled datapads allowed him a moment of respite from skulduggery and weariness. Holochips, gifted from sympathetic elders and passed along by like-minded others, granted him a small taste of what life could have been if life was fairer and their society was kinder.

Sorry for not updating this for the last two weeks, everyone! I had some ideas and snippets I wanted to throw up here for you guys to enjoy, but real life has been pretty hectic. I'm hoping to correct this in the weekends to come, starting today!

Here's the first passage of a Thunderrod story that I've been working on for the past year or so and it's so close to being completed, too. I literally just have maybe four or five bits I need to wrap up. Then it'll go into the editing stage and I'll have someone else read it over for last minute issues or mistakes I didn't see.

I hope to finish it by the end of this month since I'm doubling down on it now. :> The passage is pretty rough in some parts, but I hope to improve it over time while I continue to work on this story; I just hope it conveys the tone/mood I'm attempting to evoke for this!


The first thing he sees are a pair of ruby red optics and the strange, tense smile the mech hovering above him is wearing.

Huh. Hasn’t he been here before?

“You’re awake.” The mech – Thunderclash, a distant echo in his processor informs him – looks strained yet relieved, so relieved, as he helps Rodimus sit up straight. He starts to rub the back of Rodimus’ neck in a soothing circular motion, helping rid that nagging throb the speedster suddenly realises is bothering him. “I was worried that the checkup was too much for you. I’m glad you’ve proven me wrong once again.”

It all starts because Drift and Ratchet need babysitters.

To no one's surprise, the long time couple are the first ones to welcome little bundles of joy to the Lost Light crew. Multiples, small and round and full of crooning songs that they love to share with their family.

And - again, to no one's surprise - Rodimus adores the sparklings' presence on the ship. It doesn't surprise Megatron one bit, recalling a faint conversation about how Rodimus had training of some sort to look after sparklings.

Rodimus is simply over the moons and beyond whenever he gets to greet the little ones, if Drift brings one or two to the bridge or if Rodimus spies the sparkling's makeshift nest when getting a checkup from Ratchet. He plays with them. He sings along with them. He sneaks them treats when he thinks neither Drift or Ratchet notice. He loves the sparklings to bits.

So when Drift starts to ask around for babysitters for a particular night, hoping to have some quality time with his Conjunx, Megatron knows better than to protest Rodimus eagerly volunteering both of their services.
