Spreading awareness of Imposter Syndrome and how it can affect people without them even knowing.

Our Mission

Many high school students struggle with Imposter Syndrome, leading to self-doubt, anxiety, and a fear of failure. It is crucial to recognize the factors that contribute to these feelings and the protective strategies that can help. Our mission is to educate high school students on the risk and protective factors of imposter syndrome while fostering confidence, self acceptance, and a supportive environment where students feel valued and capable.

What is Imposter Syndrome?

Imposter syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a 'fraud'. It can lead to feelings of self-doubt and inadequacy.

Instagram

We launched a social media campaign on Instagram where we created posts to raise awareness and aid for people suffering from Imposter Syndrome. We offered solutions through our IMPOSTER campaign, where we encouraged students to engage in activities that promote confidence and feelings of self-worth

Tiktok

On the tiktok platform, we created videos that blended humor with helpful information about Imposter Syndrome in order to reach a younger demographic of viewers and raise awareness. Teens are a common victim of Imposter Syndrome, and advertising on tiktok allowed us to reach this age group.

Events

In order to reach local communities and spread awareness to people around us, we held and event where we presented to a group of students, teaching them the warning signs of Imposter Syndrome, and how they can combat it. We also put fliers in populated areas to reach as many people as possible and recruited other students to help put them up.
