Trying to update...
May. 31st, 2009 06:19 pmI keep forgetting to come here and update because I want to post art whenever I do, but it's been hard for me to do anything regarding scanning.
So here's what I'm working on right now:
Two old paintings I need to finish. One is my "Scarlet Woman" painting that I started on Nov. 30, 2007 but never finished. Another is a winter painting that I started around the same time in 2008. They are both mere brushstrokes away from completion.
Another is a small alien and stonehenge painting that I started two weeks ago.
Another is a redhead with a woodpecker that I started just the other day but will finish quickly because I'm motivated to do so!
Another is a cheesy D&D style painting, a cross section of a dungeon, a la an AD&D module cover from the early 80s in style. I found the sketch among some papers I doodled on at work one day. I am digging it!
I have a lot of other projects I want to start too.
My web site. xelucha.homestead.com, which I hope to some day change to simply www.artbysarada.com, got almost 200 hits in one day recently when it got some traffic from StumbleUpon. Now I am once again the fourth from the top hit on Google when you search for "witch art." I'm eager to try to keep this Google position since I get a lot of commissions that way. Hopefully I won't just wind up getting junk mail and people stealing my images without crediting them. :( Of course if I was better at watermarking and things that wouldn't be an issue.
I'm also trying to join the NJ street team on Etsy. Even though I don't do much with Etsy...it's a place to show my stuff. And really, I just want a pat on the back for my effort, that's all!
