What is the IndieWeb?
"IndieWeb" refers to the community of folk who maintain their own personal websites. I'm of the opinion that there's no particular correct way to be "IndieWeb," but the Principles articulate what's important about it. You may see terms like "small web," "retroweb," "indie web" uncapitalized, two words or one wordd and they all speak to many of the same values. To me, it's not nostalgia, it's self-publishing and self-determination in the face of corporate silo hegemony and enshittification.
