The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS) Brisbane is a not-for-profit community-owned health care and community services organisation delivering on the unique health and wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in greater Brisbane and Logan.
Our services include medical and dental clinics, child and family health services, youth services, social and emotional wellbeing programs and services, a birthing in our community hub, an aged care facility, and a variety of family and child support services including child protection, family wellbeing services, kindergarten programs and a children and family centre.

Logan Clinic Celebrates Coming of the Light
Each year on 1 July, Coming of the Light, or Keriba Lagaw Buiya in traditional language, is celebrated across the Torres Strait and by Torres Strait Islander communities throughout Australia. The day marks the arrival of Christianity to the Torres Strait Islands in 1871 and is an important time to come together, celebrate culture, share stories and honour Torres Strait Islander history, faith and identity.
