The Arizona Commission on the Arts invites teen creatives to join the AZ Youth Arts Council to ensure that Arizona’s youth perspective is heard in arts programming and policy.
At the conclusion of Archana Gurudu’s time as Youth Coordinator, we asked her about what first drew her to the AZ Youth Arts Council, the lessons she’ll carry forward, and what’s next for her, both academically and artistically!
The program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 16, 2026, and will continue through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. Participating museums can be found in all 50 states, District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and include history, art, and children’s museums; historical sites; botanical gardens; zoos; aquariums; and more.
