I love Fu Wanqing going weak-kneed from Yu Shengyan kissing her! I liked that's a reason why Yu Shengyan refuses to draw her sword. Also, I thought the reminder that they're not all that different was a neat note to end the chapter on.

Shen Shengyi is starting to see what's going on, but has a giant blind spot re: Fu Wanqing.

Yu Shengyan turned, eyeing her. “Back so soon?”

Fu Wanqing smiled. “You think they’d figure anything out? Does the Jadewater Guild not care about this at all? The lost disciples were standouts in Blackpeak Hall, right? It really was my fault, this time.”

Yu Shengyan nodded.

“You don’t seem to care about those disciples at all.”

“Do you care about those jianghu warriors?”

“No.”

Fu Wanqing smiled again. For many years, she believed she’d never in her life find someone who aligned with her so completely. And now she had, but why did it have to be an enemy?

I'm continuing to enjoy the reminders of how similar the two of them are.

I really like how the fight scene is described! I'm curious if the attacker is really from the Lightpath Alliance or if the sword forms he used are meant to make people assume he is.

I'm amused by the image of Yue Qingtan and Guo Ju ignoring the chao around them and doing their best to drink all the wine!

I'm amused that Yue Qingtan ends up avoiding most of the chaos because she's passed out drunk. Poor Guo Ju isn't having much luck with Gu Yu at the moment!
