We met online in February 2000, and started going out in May 2000, two months to the day before we first met. (Until June 2001, Edith lived in north-east Scotland, whereas Paul was living in the south of England, which wasn't much fun.) Meeting went very well and then as 2000 became 2001, Paul got down on both knees - twice as good as most people's proposals - and we got engaged :) We moved in together, into a lovely new house in outer London, in August 2004. We got married at London Zoo in September 2005 - see zoolyweds for more information!

Nowadays, Edith is a professional geek/librarian at a London conservatoire and Paul does financial geekery for a local council. You can see photos of our adventures (ok, maybe too exciting a word!) at our flickr account.
