Ghanaian Immigrant, Ciara Sakyi receives Beyond Think Together Scholarship
Ciara Sakyi, a recent graduate from Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Rialto USD, was awarded the $3,000 Beyond Think Together Scholarship and plans to attend California State University, Fullerton, before transferring to New York University (NYU) to pursue a career as a cardiac surgeon.

The Racial Liberation Ascension Model (RLAM) is a framework for understanding the journey from assimilation within oppressive systems to collective liberation. Originally created as a personal tool to make sense of the emotional and spiritual weight of liberation work, it evolved through dialogue with educators, organizers, and community members who recognized similar patterns in their experiences.
