well had the new car for a week now and it's spent 2 of those in the garage ;S grrrrr....
At least i have not paid for it to be fixed....
Aircon was not working... absolute bugger as it's been 28 odd degrees over the weekend... Well it's up and running now and oh my god is it good..... I now have an ice maching in my car... seriously.... it cool.....lol.. comic genius..
They've also fixed a worrying ticking sound when it was started up (thanks donna's dad for pointing out that one!! :).... appears the people who changed the cam belt last put something back on wrong...DOH....
Anyway new cam belt fitted.. saves me 200 quid later in the year...
Evidently can't redline the car for a 100 odd miles or so... :(
looking forward to a chilled drive back from preston in a couple of hours.
Nearly forgot stereo sounds fantastic in the car... shame it cost hundred odd quid to remove from other car and refit....
looking forward to hassle free motoring... |

Well.... it had to happen....
finally managed to off load my car on some unsuspecting dealer.......hehe
For those that do not know bought a lovely Red Alfa 156 JTD... had it for all of 4 weeks before things started going wrong.... must have spent over 2 grand (maybe 3) on it over the last year and a half or so...you name it it went wrong with it...anyway managed to finally break my love of it and change it for another car...
managed to get a fairly good deal before it broke again and am just about to swap it for a 1.8 vectra. looking forward to driving a car that hopefully will not cost me £300 a month in repair bils.....
A warning to you all ALFA's may look pretty but they cost a fortune to keep running... grrrr... especially if you do 20,000 miles a year in them...
pick new car up at 2 squuuuueeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
