Sharp Pencil

A Playdate crank game about sharpening pencils. Insert, crank, pull out at the right moment — too soon and it's dull, too far and the tip snaps.

Four pencil types across four levels, each with its own crank speed, scoring, and breaking point. Play Timed for a 60-second scoring rush with combos and a high score, or switch to Zen for an endless, relaxing sharpen with no clock and no score.

Controls

• Hold Right to insert, release to grade the round
• Crank to sharpen
• B to quit

An accessibility-friendly Press mode (system menu) lets you use the d-pad instead of holding a button. Japanese language support and a screen-effects toggle are also available in the system menu.
