The DSB Information Technology Services team is dedicated to providing exceptional technology service in support of the Faculty’s teaching, learning and research mission. DSB-ITS provides service to the main campus facility and the Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington across.

The Digital Research Commons Pilot (DRCP) aims to build a more connected, capable, and researcher-focused approach to digital research support, which will improve access to systems, services, software, and training for researchers across the institution.

Humanities Media and Computing has been providing computing and technology support to the Faculty of Humanities at McMaster University for almost 30 years. They thrive on change, service excellence and resolving technological challenges. Mission Statement The mission of Humanities Media and Computing is to support the appropriate use of technology in instruction, research, and administration within the Faculty of Humanities.

Science IT (SciTech) aims to collaborate in designing, building, and sustaining differentiated, performance-driven technology solutions. These solutions are focused on supporting research, teaching, and campus IT strategies within the Faculty of Science. This approach emphasizes a needs-based framework for technology development, aiming for solutions that are affordable, ethical, secure, accessible, and scalable.

The Research & High-Performance Computing Support group provides computing support to the research and high-performance computing communities at McMaster. Our services include desktop and server system administration, web application programming, data visualization programming, data analysis programming, database design, personnel management, and almost any other kind of computer support you might need to support your research endeavours.

The Sherman Centre provides consulting, instruction, and technical support to faculty, staff, students, and community members for all aspects of digital scholarship—from teaching and training to research, dissemination, and beyond.

A monthly newsletter produced for the IT community, by the IT community. This activity is a communications experiment originating from the Tech Round Table (TRT) in response to feedback from our 2017 IT Forum. We welcome content submissions from all IT employees across campus.
