Death Monarchs & the Dead

The third Gloaming Diaries homebrew jam has finally wrapped up, and boy has it been an eventful two months. This jam covers the fae's undead counterparts, the dead, focusing primarily on content that would help storytellers in the process of setting up and running a Gloaming Diaries game. It sure was a big topic! The jam saw a whole lot of lore from the community, and in the first half contributors all wrote material for one another to use while writing NPC archetype templates. As always, these jams are homebrew content for individual storytellers to pick and choose what they're interested in running at their table.

During this collection's editing phase, the core Gloaming Diaries system saw a major update, moving from the legacy 1.0 edition to a 1.5, with further updates expected to come. This is an exciting time, but Death jam is in the awkward position of coming out right in the middle of these updates, so the submissions are only partially up to date. Rest assured, the content in this document and previous jams will eventually be updated to the complete 1.5 ruleset, once it has fully released and contributors have been given time to digest the new rules.
