We're Keeping it Real....Real Mean!

Death Eater Drabs is a shortfic community where we want our characters unredeemed, evil and wicked. Nice guys have no place here, except on the receiving end of an Unforgivable!

If you have a nice, dark fic (of less than 1000 words or so), that fits the theme of this community, feel free to post it here. (For longer Death Eater and Slytherin fics, check out our sister communities slyinslytherin and _marvolo_.) If you have some lovely Death Eater art, by all means post it. We love art! Just remember to warn for any possible triggers and tag your entries appropriately! For what we mean by 'appropriately', see our tagging guide.

We are also the home of a drabble contest! Here's how that works:

-A theme is picked (character, pairing, spell, object...) and three alternative prompts (a picture, a quote and a song) will be posted along with sign-ups. If you feel inspired, you have until the date provided to sign up for that challenge.
-There is no limit to how many people can sign up.
-You must submit your drabble in a screened comment to the sign-up post by the date specified.
-The drabbles will be posted and you can vote for your favourites. If you are a contestant, you are required to vote. You may not vote for yourself or ask others to vote for you.
-After voting is over, we will announce a Winner and a Runner-up. Winners will receive Eternal Glory, and a shiny banner!

Remember,
-Your drabble must adhere to the prompt and word count. It must also fit the general rules of the community, i.e. feature the given character(s) as "bad".
-You may not post your drabble elsewhere before the challenge is over.
-Please remember to proofread your drabble before you submit. Spell-check is your friend!
-If you have signed up but can't submit your drabble in time (or at all), please contact us ASAP. Dropping out does not disqualify you from signing up again.

Community rules

Apart from redeemed Death Eaters, very little is forbidden here. Non-con, dub-con and con are all allowed, along with any kinks your dirty minds come up with ;) We welcome slash, het, femmeslash, gen and any combination thereof (we love threesomes and moresomes). Overt fluff may be frowned upon, but tolerated. ;)

Because we accept all ratings and all kinks, all members and watchers MUST be over the age of eighteen. No exceptions. All members are required to WARN APPROPRIATELY for any possibly triggering content. It's always better to be safe than sorry; when in doubt, warn. Besides, for many of us the warnings serve as enticements! If we receive complaints about missing warnings, we will politely ask you to make the necessary additions. Fail to do so, and we will delete your post.

If you want to promote a community or fest that has to do with the dark side, ask a mod first. All unauthorised ads will be deleted.

We strive to be a nice and friendly, free-for-all community, but there is one thing that will get you banned before you have time to say 'F*** you!' We will tolerate absolutely NO WANK. If you don't like our rules, walk away. If you don't like a certain pairing or kink, walk away. If you feel the writer has given inadequate warnings, contact a mod and we'll sort it out. Let's all behave like adults here, 'k?
