I think that religion stops people from thinking. I think it justifies crazies.
I think flying planes into a building was a faith-based initiative.
I think religion is a neurological disorder. If you look at it logically,
it's something that was drilled into your head when you were a small child.
It certainly was drilled into mine at that age. And you really can't be responsible
when you are a kid for what adults put into your head.

Age statement: I am well and truly 'of age' for any jurisdiction!
I'm a maths teacher with an interest in Science Fiction. I have a library of about 1800 books, all of which I re-read, most of them extensively dog-eared. I'm passionate about Buffy and the Buffyverse, Stargate, West Wing, NCIS and Dead Like Me and I'm an avid reader of the fanfic on this and other similar sites. I've had a dozen or so textbooks published but I'm insanely jealous of those who can write good fiction and dream of learning to write my own. :-)

Please note that this is NOT primarily intended to be a recs site (although you're welcome to use it that way) - it's simply that I loathe and despise LJ's Memories facility and this seemed the best way to be far more organised in remembering fics that I liked and would like to re-read.
