New Years Postcard Tags!

As we end the year I created New Years tags for Altered Pages.  Lace is so versatile it comes in many colors, but in my stash of lace most of it is white.  White lace can be died to colors that match any project you are working on.  Today I am sharing half of the tags I made today, see more tags on New Years Day!

The New Years tags were created on the back of the Classic Post Card Tags!

Each tag was sprayed with two Mists - Brown and Red or Green. The tags curled and when they died they would flatten.  

Cut images from the Altered Pages collage sheets

A Children's New Year, Altered Pages Vintage Bicycles or Mail Box Muse Fringe & Fedoras.

 

Die lace with mists used to spray the background.  In a small bowl add a little bit of water with desired colors, then dry. 

 The Shabby Rose was colored to a beautiful creamy color!

Spread tons of supplies (listed above) on the table and start creating!

Reycycling ~ Create a Sweet Ornament

I love recycling!  Today I have an ornament made from the cardboard center from one of my used double-sided tape rolls.

 

 

 

 

 

Supplies:

Cardboard center of tape roll

Hello December Paper

Lace

Tacky Glue

Stickles

Dew Drop

Tree from Stash for center of ornament

 

 

Cut a circle from a sheet of Hello December paper pad.

With tacky glue attach the Hello December paper to the back of the cardboard circle!

 

Attach lace around the outside of the cardboard with tacky glue.  Also adhere the tree to the inside of the ornament, add a dew drop to the top of the tree.

 

Add stickles to the outer edge of the cardboard.  Attach a piece of ribbon for hanging.  Let it dry!

With ColorBox Ink Chianti and Merry Christmas Stamp, stamp sentiment on the tag. 

Adhere die cuts to the tag with Tacky Glue

Attach burlap flowers with Tacky Glue. Add Tulle to the tag if you like.

Daisy lace will look like snowflakes on the tag.
