Weatherwise, the next few days are going to be Hell on Earth. I can just endure (offering my suffering up for my sins, thanks Catholic Church), but I worry for the cats. So I bought a big fan since I don't have air conditioning (like I could afford the electricity!). We'll see if it helps.

One of the tomato plants I bought was mislabeled. Instead of a full size fruit I got cherries. I don't care for cherries as they explode when you bite them and shoot out seeds on your clothes. I find. But some of the ones I have ripened and are sweet and don't have the tough skin that makes hard biting necessary and turns them into grenades. So that's all right.

Even the basil is sprouting. Last year nothing happened; I started too early but now it's hot and maybe I'll have some plants.

I've bought some peanuts to throw out in the yard, to lure the crows. I want to be friends with the crows. They take the peanut and break the shell in the shallow water bowl for the birds. Washing food like raccoons.

I went to the every six-month eye exam. Same, same. I took the push a button when you see the light test. My lower left quadrant is a pos. If you want to attack me, come in low and on the left. I'll never see it coming.

Then they give you a six month later appointment and you think, that's so looong away and suddenly, it's tomorrow.

I picked tomatoes off one of the plants. Sweet.

The electrician has come and gone. AND he has revealed to me the magic switch and how to unlock its secret.
