more like echospam

I admit my first thought when I saw the trailer was: "it doesn't look a damn thing like Guild Wars" lol. If I had to compare it to something, I would have to say it made me think of WoW Outland.

I felt better when they announced Kekai Kotaki would be back and they supposedly committed to sticking with the B2P model. Will continue to be casually hopeful.

It's a whole new year! Cheers to all. Like many, I would have to say 2025 was gnarly, and mostly not in a good way.

I passed my exam though, and I'm currently scrambling to catch up on all the actually fun things I wanted to think/write about. It's a big disorganized mess right now, but I'm working on it.

There's at least half a dozen fandom-related write-ups I want to do, but I want to start with MFG because the new season snuck up on me soooo fast. It's already here!

I've wanted to do a writeup of my experience playing these two visual novels since ages ago, but never got around to it until now. They have a special place in my heart, and I've always wanted to talk about the connection between them because it's something I've never seen discussed at length anywhere else.

( Was anybody going to tell me that World End Syndrome is a 7'Scarlet remake or was I just supposed to play them both and find that out myself? )
