Poetry Workshops
I lead monthly poetry workshops (alternately writing-focused and criticism-focused) at my parish church, St Mary the Virgin, in Wootton by Woodstock. Quiet Days and Retreats
If you would like to book a quiet day for your community or organisation, please get in touch. I have experience leading retreat days – usually involving prayer, silence, reading, and writing – with church groups and religious communities, and would be happy to hear from those who would like to discuss designing a bespoke quiet day. These days can be tailored to your specifications, and can also have a secular and meditative focus.
Speaking
I am an experienced speaker on contemporary poetics, with a particular focus on the relationship between poetry and the sacred, and regularly speak as part of Lent lecture series for church communities. My background as a singer also gives me a unique platform to lead more interactive workshops that interweave breath, singing, poetry, and prayer.
