Ancient Loops
A downloadable game
Ancient Loops
Ancient Loops is a small interactive sound toy built for Playdate. It is an audiovisual crank-based experience rather than a traditional game. There are no levels, no chapters, no fail state, and no unlockable progression.
Ancient Loops is conceived as a singular audiovisual toy, somewhere between a minimal instrument, a ritual machine, and an interactive graphic object. The project aims to create a dialogue between sound, pattern, rhythm, and movement through a deliberately simple, tactile, and enigmatic form, where the crank activates collisions and resonances between cards. Its artistic intention is to offer a short but dense experience in which play also becomes a form of visual and sonic composition.
