2 Kings 7:1, 5–6 (NIV)[1] Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.”[5] At dusk, they got up and went to […]

How to step out
Before you seek promotion at your workplace or step into business, enlarge your mindset.
Do not merely chase a bigger position. Become a bigger person.
Grow until the system around you can no longer contain your capacity. Increase until your environment is forced to make the same confession Abimelech made to Isaac:
Genesis 26:16 (KJV)
“And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.”
Don’t rush to leave a small room, a small house, or a small platform. Remain there until heaven and earth bear witness that you have outgrown the space. Leave only when your environment declares, “Depart from us, for you have become mightier than us.”
I worked at one company for seven years. By the time I left, my body was still present, but my heart had already departed. The cost of staying had become greater than the risk of stepping out. The fire to advance burned stronger than the comfort of security. I was no longer running away from something-I was being pulled by something greater.
But let me bring balance to this truth.
Do not manifest prematurely. A fruit picked before its season never reveals its full sweetness. Hiddenness is not punishment; it is preparation. Allow God to complete His work in you.
When your season arrives, doors will not need to be forced-they will open. What once resisted, you will release you. What once contained you will announce your departure.
For when the appointed time comes, He makes everything beautiful in its time, and the Lord Himself will hasten it.
When the Devil Appears to Be Friendly
Acts 16:16–17 (KJV)[16] And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:[17] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us […]

Power of Desires
1 Kings 8:16-17 (NIV)[16] ‘Since the day I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built so that my Name might be there, but I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.’[17] “My father David had it in his […]

Being Current with God
Acts 11:9-10 (ESV)“But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’ This happened three times, and all was drawn up again into heaven.” God had to take Peter through the same vision three times—just to confront and dismantle a long-standing mindset that was hindering His end-time […]

Acts 9:13–16 (KJV) [13] Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: [14] And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. [15] But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: […]

Devotion: Unlocking the Light in the Word
Just because the Bible is open in front of us doesn’t mean its hidden truths are automatically revealed. There is a difference between having the Scriptures and understanding them. This is powerfully illustrated in Acts 8:30–31 (NIV): Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand […]

Devotion: Wait for the Burning Bush
Scripture: Acts 7:35 (NIV)“This is the same Moses they had rejected with the words, ‘Who made you ruler and judge?’ He was sent to be their ruler and deliverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.” This verse highlights a powerful truth: there is a significant difference between stepping […]

Devotion: Guarding the Ministry of the Word and Prayer
Scripture: Acts 6:2–3 (NIV)“So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, ‘It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. […]

How to multiply miracles
Acts 2:42-43 (KJV) [42] And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.[43] And fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. The recipe for a lifestyle of signs and wonders is revealed here:They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ […]
