Born in a world where powers are somewhat common, Madsen is the daughter of a former Army captain, born with natural pyrokinetic abilities (from her father's side) and a penchant for sticking her neck where it doesn't belong. A former soldier herself, she had spent the better part of five years fighting against her former headmaster alongside former classmates and other allies. Soft-spoken, determined, with a bit of a snarky streak and a strong sense of justice, she's one of a handful of survivors from the incident that sparked the conflict, and a founding member of the Alliance that eventually took back their lives against Kresoveer and his forces. Now a hybrid thanks to her partner (a phoenix that had originally partnered with her to be granted freedom) giving her his life force in an attempt to save her life during the final battle, she works under his brother as a field agent and (sometimes) mediator between human and supernatural forces while trying to adjust to the newfound abilities that she's been given as a result of the augmentation.
