I had to actually force myself to keep playing past the first part of the Sunny Summer Fontinalia quest because I just hate Citlali that fucking much. She's such an exceptionally shitty character and one of the worst examples of the annoying tsundere waifu archetype.

I'm not usually a supporter of the skip button demands but damn do I wish there was one just so I could use it for any scene with this fucking waste of space.

I still haven’t played past that though I will at least get the minigames before they’re gone. I don’t particularly care for Citlali either but also Fontaine is probably my least liked nation (heresy for most people I know) so the fact that we’re doing the summer event there just bores me.

I'd love to know the details of their pre-nup. Because you know damn well they must have one, she'd be a fool not to. I bet (and hope for her sake) it has a punitive cheating clause because again, she'd be a fool not to. He looks like a guy who'd cheat if she gains weight or loses her looks, or gets sick, or loses her money. If he pulls anything, I hope TS is smart enough to have a pre-nup that leaves him with nothing. That might not be romantic, but it's practical.

I bet - hope - she has an iron-clad prenup that totally covers her ass. At some point, the dickmatization may wear off and the CTE may kick in, so she may well need it.

“…leaves him with nothing,” honestly made me LOL it’s like OP thinks he’s some rando. He’s not a billionaire, let’s be real and remember that she is literally one of the richest people on the planet, but he was doing fine before he met her and he’ll be fine if they split. The prenup will cover both of their assets.

I mean, I think everybody should have a prenup with a punitive cheating clause.

But then I also think all children should be tested for paternity at birth (with an informed waiver provision for men who know they aren't the bio dad and/or don't care) to both prevent paternity fraud and head off any man who wants to say "it's not even mine" and make a headache for the courts when he won't pay his child support on those grounds.

I've been told I'm rather a cynical sort, particularly when I've grown up surrounded by happy, long-lasting marriages.

I know little about them except what I see here, but anyone marrying a professional athlete should have a solid pre-nup because athletes so often go off the rails when they retire, and not just in sports with high CTE risk.

Fandom seems to have zero nuance these days. Either a character is loved or hated. Good or Evil. Praised or Cancelled. Discussions are about winning and losing and there is no nuance to anything or anyone. It's honestly depressing.

I might be too old fashioned for fandom participation. I may just go back to lurking and enjoying things on my own.

I know it's problematic, and aged poorly, and racist, and guilty of a million colonizing ideas and tropes but man...

I still love the 1999 The Mummy and have rewatched it a million times. That and Jurassic Park (the original) are still my 2 favorite movies of all time.

I know better than to get my hopes up but oh boy do I have high hopes for this. I've been a fan of Chen Xingxu since Starry Love and My Boss (couldn't bring myself to watch Goodbye My Princess) and keep hoping he'll get another really good historical drama. IMO, he deserves more roles. He can do the coldface tsundere types, he's well built enough to play a general or martial arts hero, and he melts into goofy simp mode at the drop of a hat in romances. I keep seeing other higher traffic actors star in cdramas where the role would've been great for him and wishing he could've gotten that part instead.

Really hope The Noble is a huge hit and he has a better selection of scripts to choose from in the future.

Bonus secret: I don't care what people say, I think he's got a lovely voice and hate it when they dub him.
