my dudes (it's always dudes). when someone asks a question on the internet and you don't know the answer. Just fucking ignore it. "helpful guessing" is not helpful. the internet is a big place - there is a good chance someone will actually know the answer. if you want to be helpful, just boost the question.

If you need to keep your daily meds cool during days like these, I can really recommend an evaporation based cooling med bag.

Got myself one back for cccamp2023 & it's coming in handy right now as it allows me to keep my daily pills next to my bed where I can't forget taking them, nicely cooled at around 22°C (as long as I keep the inner bag hydrated). My supplies went into the fridge of course.

Not an ad, an actual recommendation. I got mine from frio.eu but there might be other options.

What's missing: a "remind me later" option for Android notifications.
I really want to swipe away this signal notification from my mum, but I will forget about it if I do.

Edit: I just got told there's an option for that. It might be "Allow notification snoozing". Though I am not sure it's what I want. Does it simply suppress all notification from the same app for some time? Or does it really just pop up the same notification after the snooze is over? We'll see.

I’ve seen 1000x more posts from the Mastorati about how much they hate LLMs than ANYTHING about the massive anti-trans hate-stoking in the anglophone media.

Your values are showing.

Remember when people were hotlinking your images in forum posts and you changed them to tell them off?

Well I just discovered that someone was mirroring my *entire* website via a cloudflare proxy to their own domain, replacing each mention of splitbrain.org with their domain name. Not sure what they gain from that.

Anyway, they are now delivering a javascript telling the world that they stole the content.

BTW. is there any legitimate reason for cloudflare to access my servers if I don't use them myself? Could I just block all of cloudflare?
