Profile

I specialize in patrology, write poetry, articles on poetry, and memoirs. I emerged from the unofficial culture of St. Petersburg and was once a member of Club 81. In patrology, my primary focus is Maximus the Confessor – I have published Russian translations of many of his important works. Currently, I am working on the Cappadocian Fathers. I publish under the name Grigory Benevich (Григорий Беневич).
