To save us both time, here are answers to some common questions:
- No shipping outside of the United States. Payment must be from a U.S. billing address.
- No wholesale orders.
- All seeds are grown here at Hayefield, in southeastern PA. I am not certified organic but have been gardening this land with organic practices since I started the gardens here in 2001. All seeds are open-pollinated, non-GMO, and neonicotinoid- and glyphosate-free.
- No on-site sales or garden tours.
- I do not do business by phone, only email.
- I have already reached my limit for seed donations from my 2025 harvest.
- Unfortunately, I don’t have time to answer general gardening questions, make customized seed recommendations, or offer garden design advice.
- I will not respond to sales pitches, requests for sponsored posts, or other advertising.
- If you are a native-plant enthusiast, that’s terrific! I am too. But if you are planning to contact me to complain about something I sell because it is not a U.S. native, or not native to where you live, or because I charge more than some other sources, or for some other reason, please take your negativity elsewhere. Better yet, start your own natives-only seed company and let me know; I’m always looking for new sources of native species of known ecotypes (to grow, not to package for resale).
