It was my first time playing, and I had a lot of fun with it – it was pretty much exactly my level of fannish engagement right now (namely, poke around at a lot of little things!), and the delay in reveals meant that I had the chance to write a couple more things than intended (both of which had been sitting around unfinished on my hard drive for a few years). I got an adorable little Tangled ficlet, recs for Disney books, and promise of stories from a couple other people (one of whom wrote multiple stories I enjoyed this Yuletide!), and am quite pleased. I haven't had the chance to read anything else posted yet, but I'm looking forward to poking around other people's stockings this weekend!

Relatedly, I was reminded while puttering around with stockings that I really love writing drabbles, and I never do anymore, since I feel silly posting them to AO3. So I have a whole weekend ahead of me with no plans - if you'd like a drabble, leave me a prompt with a fandom and/or pairing I'm familiar with, and a prompt, and I'll write you a thing!

Aug. 30th, 2012 07:53 pmwith all the podfic I've been listening to lately, I spent a bunch of time early in the pod_together signups this year dithering about whether I wanted to sign up and get matched with a podficcer I didn't know. so when inkjunket emailed me wondering if I wanted to work on it with her, I jumped at the chance. it was such a great experience, bouncing ideas off her and vice versa on the fic, the recording, the art - we have very similar taste in ficlike things, generally, so it was basically the easiest collaboration ever. she was super helpful with the couple of writing snags I came up against, and the podfic she recorded of the final story is A++. here's what we came up with - hope you enjoy! :D
