I'm a writer/editor by vocation, though I'm currently working for The Man in Corporatelandia and it's a cross between Dilbert and Office Space. My first-ever hobby became a lifelong dedication – reading. I love to read and I’ll read generally whatever I can get my greedy little hands on, though I have a decided preference for romance (all permutations thereof) and contemporary fantasy. I have an addiction (possibly unhealthy, but I don't give a crap) to BBC Sherlock and its meretricious (*g*) fanfic, as well as all things Doctor Who. (I should note that any GIFs I post in my blog are from teh internets, not made by me and I'm not trying to claim credit, I just like them!)

Other interests include sleeping late, creative procrastination, cooking (vegetarian), yoga, bitching and moaning about everything under the sun, being an armchair environmentalist, a very loose and informal study of the French language, herbal lore and plants, and adding to my stash of trunk novels. My life basically consists of working, commuting, reading, playing on social media, sleeping, and Murphy, the puppy we recently adopted who has taken over my waking and sleeping hours.

JUST A NOTE: I don't make public entries. But if I know you, I'm happy to admit you behind the velvet rope of my crazy world (though you may pass out from boredom; after all, it's not your life).
